Shopping Tips

To make your shopping experience easier and more enjoyable please read the following tips.

You can search for kits by keyword with the “quick find” search box at the top left of the "Go Shopping" page.

To search for kits by a certain designer, use the Designer drop down box on the upper left-hand side of the "Go Shopping" page and all products by that designer will be found for you.

Pattern packets or books can be purchased directly from the designers. A link to purchase these items is provided next to each wood kit. Clicking on this link will open a new page to the designers website. You will not lose your connection to The Wood Shop. When you are finished ordering from the designers site, simply X out of their site and The Wood Shop will be behind the designers page.

When I offer kits from a pattern packet or book, I generally offer most or all kits in that packet or book. In each kit description I will tell you either the name of the book or the packet name and number. Use the title of the book or the packet number or name, to search for all kits offered by The Wood Shop, for that particular packet or book. For example, Myra Mahy has a packet #447 Christmas Sayings, which has 5 different signs in it. If you are interested in that packet, buy the packet from Myra (link provided below each kit) and then search my site for #447 or Christmas Sayings. This will show you all the kits offered by The Wood Shop for packet #447.

Some patterns or books are no longer available from the designers. In that instance, you can still purchase a copy of the pattern from The Wood Shop. The price of the pattern will be forwarded on to the designers. Please note the following for unavailable pattern packets that contain more then one project: If you are ordering multiple kits from the same pattern packet, make sure you only order one copy of the pattern packet! Doing so will get you a copy of every project in the packet, just as if you were ordering the original pattern packet from the designer, not just the one for the kit you are ordering.

International Orders

Due to the extra costs of processing and mailing international orders, there is a $25.00 minimum purchase required for all international orders.

We only charge actual shipping costs on all orders, no handling fees. We do not keep any stock on hand, therefore shipping costs will not be known until your order is paid for, cut and packaged. After your order is cut and packaged, you will be billed for shipping costs. At that time, you will be able to choose from several different shipping options and prices.

Thank you and happy painting! *Ü*
